How to start playing guitar?
If you are wondering to play a guitar, the best way on the beggining is to borrow it from somebody else. However, when you are quite sure that you want to play the guitar than buy your own. There is no rule for buing a guitar. For all the begginers it is best to buy a classical guitar or acoustic one. It is said that the first guitar should be just classical or acoustic. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages.
It is characteristic for the classical guitar that it usually has nylon strings. Strings can of course be exchanged for metal once, but such conversion is not recommended, because it can destroy it. I don’t think it is possible to get a classical guitar in black or other colors. Classical guitar is a good one to start, because of the lightness, portability, wide neck of the guitar, which allows you to quickly extend the fingers.
The acoustic guitar is larger than classical one and has a more square shapes. As a rule, the acoustics guitars use metal strings, but sometimes also acoustic nylon-strings. It is a matter of taste. Acoustic guitars are specifically amplified, making them more robust. But they are also heavier. Acoustic guitars are available in most colors. Some have built-in an entrance amplifier. The advantage of acoustic guitars is that the metal strings quickly strengthen the muscles of the fingers and hands. Pressing hard metal strings means painfull and injured skin. However, each guitarist have to be aware of that, so better just get it quickly and forget.
An important issue for buying guitars are for sure finances. Classical guitars are definitely the cheapest. It won’t be a sensational quality, but you can play it. A good guitar can be purchased even for $100. It is not worth to buy an acoustic guitar for less than $100, because it probably will break down quickly.
The best are insulating cases of hardened foam material. The biggest enemy of wooden instruments is a temperature, a proper case will provide appropriate security. Currently, you can buy all sorts of cases in different styles and designs. Invest in one that adequately protects your guitar.
